Got an assignment? Use a template, people!
I cannot stress how important it is to move past the idea of a word-processed assignment into the professional world of a formatted assignment.
Undergraduate students have a lot to grab hold of when they commence academic study. Using an assignment template deletes one of your steps by supplying a standardised and applicable formatting structure for your assignment as you type it. With an assignment template, you need never submit an assignment in the stupid ole default = your fault = you-didn't-notice-the-font Calibri with rankly inconsistent heading levels or wonky tables again.
These assignment templates are formatted to give you a clean, clear structure for appropriately spaced text, four levels of heading, tables and figures (with headings and captions), references, and a table of contents.
And, if you don't like the formatting I've made for you (it's as close as possible to the university-applicable style, but—) who cares? Just modify the styles I've created and you can change the line spacing, font, margins—you name it—with minimum fuss. With a template, your assignments will quickly and easily look great, and you can use the template over and over again for subsequent assignments so that all your papers are uniform.
Ok, enuff of my sales talk.
At the moment, there are two Harvard style assignment templates available, but APA7 templates and PhD templates are coming soon.
